These reviews aren’t curated. We’ve published every 4- and 5-star review across our four platforms — Google, Yelp, HomeAdvisor, and Facebook — going back to 2014 when we started. The pattern over twelve years is consistent: families who hire us once tend to call again, refer their neighbors, and write something true about the experience.   “I had used Stamford Junk Pros several times when I lived in nearby Wilton. They were great back then, so when my dad passed and we needed to clear out his apartment (OMG he saved everything), I called to see if they would come down to Bronxville, NY where my dad's apartment was located. They did come down and, once again, did a fabulous job. They were really nice and worked very hard - and were so much more affordable than 1-800-Got-XXXX people! Justin was great to work with to get things set up, and the apartment's management company required a certificate of insurance, which was quickly filled out and returned to me. Bravo Junk Pros of Stamford! Great job!”

  “Spectacular service, even during Covid! First, a human answered their phone immediately and was clear and courteous. How rare these days! I got an appointment for next day! As promised, received a call that crew was on its way. My mother gave me last minute permission to move a fridge, not part of original request. So I had to tell the poor guys upon arrival that there was a surprise fridge move, two in fact, one removed, one moved within house. Crew didn't flinch. Then one fridge move required its doors AND house door to come off, which they achieved with impressive skill. I'm a manager in my work life and can say their professionalism was superb. Also, important for environment, the company claims to recycle materials. A+ on every level.”

Junk Pros answered our call late in the evening and they were able to get us a 20 yard dumpster the next day. They were attentive and extremely easy to work with. Scheduling removal was easy and we would highly recommend them and use again if ever needed.”

  “Justin is a very nice guy, and a fair, consummately professional business owner. He arrived within 90 minutes of calling to leave a 20 yard dumpster, complete with ladder and side door for putting in heavy objects that aren't easily thrown over the sides. It was a relatively new, clean dumpster too. And he put that dumpster precisely where we wanted it - we asked him to move it back 5 feet, he did exactly that. Price is eminently fair. Weight limits on both are very fair as well. Justin communicates by phone, text, email, and even Yelp messaging!”

  “Amazing experience! I would definitely hire them again! Every interaction with this company, from setting up the appointment with Justin, and then having to move it up, because my long distance home movers moved up their delivery day at the last minute, and to the appointment itself, has been a wonderful, and positive experience. When we had to change my delivery window at the last minute, Justin was incredibly helpful and accommodating. And the amazing movers, Eric and Mike, "Big Mike", were so wonderful, professional, helpful, kind, and did excellent work.”

  “I usually don't take the time to write a review for any business, but I could not pass up the opportunity to rave about the exceptional service I received from Stamford Junk Pros. I recently visited my elderly mom in Greenwich to help her move from her condo to an assisted living facility. Being 87-years old, she was fraught with anxiety over a large couch that Salvation Army had refused to take the day before. On Sunday night, I picked up my i-phone & did a google search for "furniture removal, Greenwich". A list of businesses appeared, but I chose Stamford Junk Pros because they had a 203 area code as opposed to an 800#. After two rings, Justin picked up and patiently listened to my situation. He assured me that he could have a team of guys at my mom's condo the next day between 10am-12pm to pick up the couch along with anything else.”

  “These guys rock. Moved my dad down south with me and had 27 years of stuff to clear out of the basement and garage. They came in gave me an accurate estimate (3 truckloads of stuff). Showed up on day agreed ON TIME and came in half a truck LESS than their estimate. Hauled everything up some steep narrow basement steps without damaging anything. I have used a 1800 hauling company before but I like to go local when I can and so glad I did.”

Mike and his crew had that thing sawed up and removed in less than 2 hours, which saved me a bundle compared to some other quotes that I had received. They will haul just about anything away for you at very competitive pricing. I will definitely recommend these guys to everyone of my friends and use them again.”

  “Mike and Tim did a professional job of "junk removing" an old three seat sofa and a Sony two-ton TV from our house, then put on their "small home removal" hats and carefully moved a three seat sofa, heavy gateleg table and other items from a third-story apartment to our home. This was all accomplished within the time frame Justin originally estimated. Prices are reasonable, service is exceptional; highest kudos. Thanks, guys!”

  “SO thankful for this crew!! Found myself on an incredibly tight timeline after other donation pickup service fell through. From the second I made the phone call until I paid the movers, it was a FANTASTIC experience. These two evidently very experienced guys moved the HEAVY convertible sofa downstairs and outside without so much as a single "bump" against the wall of the stairway. As well, they moved the very long and awkward new couch out of the garage, through the same narrow doorway and up the same steep and narrow stairs without the slightest nick of the railing or bump against the wall. They unpacked the new sofa and disposed of the packing as well, leaving no mess at all.”

  “Highly recommend these guys! They removed a very difficult couch from our apartment for about 1/4 the price we were quoted by those chain junk removers. Very friendly over the phone and in person, very capable and prepared movers. They even brought a saw to cut up the couch in case it was needed (which it was!). So glad we found these guys before going with the other options.”
