dumpster-with-debris in Norwalk, CT by Stamford Junk Pros

More than half of our jobs are commercial accounts — general contractors, roofers, demo crews, property managers, real estate agents, estate attorneys. Same up-front pricing as our residential work, same speed, same depot dispatch from Stamford or West Haven. What's different is how the work fits a contractor's job site or a property manager's portfolio: scheduling around active builds, multi-can rotations, photo coordination at swap-outs, certificates of insurance for project files.

This page is the operational overview. The industry-specific pages below break it down by who's calling — different language, different examples, different sizing realities for each customer type.

What's the same as residential

Most of how we run is identical to our residential work. The honest list:

  • Same pricing. $447 / $547 / $647 / $899 by dumpster size. Same 13-tier junk removal ladder ($145 minimum to $795 full truckload). Same Grizzly Bag pricing ($59 / $269 / $299). Same demolition starting ranges. Full reference at How Pricing Works.
  • Same speed. Same-day from Stamford or West Haven yard if you call before 11 AM. No "expedited commercial tier" — every call gets the same priority on the dispatch board.
  • Same up-front pricing. Quoted before any work starts; what you see is what you pay. Re-tier confirmation if scope changes mid-job. No surprise overweight charges — we educate at delivery so you load the right size from the start.
  • No volume discounts. Operator-confirmed honesty: we don't price-discriminate. Contractors running ten dumpsters a month pay the same rates as homeowners running one. Our prices are already compressed to honest floors — they're what it costs us to run the truck, not a markup we can discount off of.

What IS different for commercial

A few operational realities that come up more on commercial work:

  • Recurring service. If you want a dumpster swap every Friday, or a weekly cleanout at a property, set it up by calling. We don't have a separate "account portal" — it's a phone-call coordination, same as everything else. Phones answered Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM live, AI after-hours and weekends.
  • Big-job billing flexibility. For repeat commercial customers we work out billing that fits your operation. Call (203) 219-8855 to discuss. Standard terms are payment by credit card before delivery for dumpsters / bags and payment on job completion for junk removal — anything beyond standard is a conversation, not a published policy.
  • Multi-job coordination. If you have three dumpsters across two sites rotating, we handle the scheduling. You get one point of contact (Lauren or Ashley on the admin side, Jason or Mauricio on dispatch) — not a generic call queue.
  • Photo coordination at swap-outs. Most commercial jobs benefit from before / during / after photos for project documentation. We text photos at swap-outs if you want — request at booking.
  • Certificates of insurance. Routine for commercial work. Tell us at booking that you need a COI (and any specific additional-insured language your project requires) and we'll send it.

Pricing reference — same as residential, applied commercial

The four service pricing blocks below are the same canonical data we render on every other surface of the site. There is no "commercial rate sheet." A 20-yard roll-off rented to a kitchen-reno contractor in Greenwich is $647 the same way it is for a homeowner cleaning out an attic in Stamford.

Each section's preamble notes how that service typically applies to commercial use cases — but the prices themselves don't move.

Roll-off dumpster rental — same residential rates

Up-front pricing. No zone pricing. Each size includes delivery, pickup, dumping, the 7-day rental window, and a weight allowance shown below. Standard add-ons disclosed up-front and confirmed at booking. Tap any size for the dedicated size guide.

Included in your base rate

  • Delivery and pickup
  • Dumping at licensed transfer station
  • 7-day rental window
  • Included weight per size (see size table)
  • No zone pricing or driveway surcharges across our service area

Standard add-ons (disclosed up-front)

  • Overweight: $0.10 per pound over the included cap
  • Extension day: $15 per day beyond the 7-day window
  • Tire (if loaded): $50 each
  • CFC appliance (refrigerator, freezer, AC, dehumidifier — if loaded): $50 each
  • Mattress or box spring (if loaded): $50 each

Add-on charges reflect actual transfer-station and disposal fees passed through to you — we don't mark up overweight, extra items, or disposal costs.

Final pricing confirmed at booking based on actual weight, rental length, and items loaded.

What can’t go in the dumpster
  • Paint, solvents, oil, household chemicals (route through CT DEEP hazardous waste)
  • Batteries — any kind, lithium especially
  • Asbestos-containing materials (specialized hauler required)
  • Tires (route to a tire dealer or pay $50/each disposal fee if loaded)
  • Medical waste
  • Liquids of any kind
  • Customer is responsible for re-routing prohibited items. See the full prohibited-items list for Connecticut.

What you see is what you book — no zone pricing, no driveway surcharges, no weekend delivery fees. Standard charges for overweight, extension days, and certain prohibited items disclosed above and confirmed at booking.

Full-service junk removal — same 13-tier ladder

When loading the dumpster yourself isn’t the right call — small volume, awkward access, or you just want it gone today — we send a crew. Pricing runs by truck space used, not by item. Final pricing confirmed before removal begins.

  • Minimum Load$145
  • 1/8 Truckload$195
  • 1/6 Truckload$250
  • 1/4 Truckload (~5 yd³)$295
  • 1/3 Truckload$340
  • 3/8 Truckload$395
  • 1/2 Truckload (~10 yd³)$455
  • 5/8 Truckload$535
  • 2/3 Truckload$615
  • 3/4 Truckload (~15 yd³)$655
  • 5/6 Truckload$690
  • 7/8 Truckload$745
  • Full Truckload (~20 yd³)$795

Not sure which tier? Send a few photos and we’ll size it for you.

  • Delivery within 48 business hours
  • no rental clock — fill it as long as you need
  • Pickup Monday–Friday only — no weekend pickups

Hazmat policy: $95 travel fee AND non-collection if a bag contains prohibited hazardous materials at pickup. Driver dispatches, charges the fee, leaves the bag on site. Customer clears the hazmat through CT DEEP and reschedules pickup once the bag is compliant.

Heavy debris (concrete, brick, dirt, shingles) is also out — needs a 10-yard roll-off, sized small for weight reasons.

Service area for commercial work

Same coverage as our residential work — anywhere within ~1 hour drive of our Stamford or West Haven yard. That means all of Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford, Litchfield (south + east), and west-of-CT-9 Middlesex counties — plus lower New London County (shoreline) and the Westchester County NY border towns we cross into via I-95 west.

For commercial accounts with sites across multiple towns, we route from whichever depot is closer. The dispatch board handles it; you don't need to specify "send me a Stamford truck" vs. "send me a West Haven truck" — we know.

Commercial FAQs

Do you offer commercial accounts?
Yes — more than half of our work is commercial. There's no separate sign-up or account portal. You call (203) 219-8855 the same way a homeowner would; we set up recurring service or one-off jobs the same way; we bill the same way. The 'account' part is just us knowing your name and your operation when you call.
Can I get a volume discount for running 10+ dumpsters per month?
No. We charge contractors running ten dumpsters a month the same rate as homeowners running one. Our prices are already compressed to honest floors — they're what it costs us to run the truck and dump the load, not a markup we can discount off of. If a hauler is offering you a 'volume discount,' check whether their base rate is just higher to start.
How do I set up recurring service?
Call (203) 219-8855. We don't have a self-serve scheduling portal — recurring service is a phone-call coordination, same as everything else. Tell Lauren or Ashley what cadence you need (weekly Friday swap, biweekly Tuesday cleanout, etc.) and they'll get it on the dispatch schedule. Live phone Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM; AI assistant covers after-hours and weekends with a callback the next business day.
Can you bill us monthly or net-30?
For repeat commercial customers we work out billing that fits your operation — call (203) 219-8855 to discuss. Standard terms are payment by credit card before delivery for dumpsters and bags, payment on job completion for junk removal. Anything beyond standard is a conversation, not a published policy.
What's the largest commercial job you've handled?
Multi-truckload estate cleanouts, multi-week renovation jobs with rotating dumpsters across multiple units, commercial-tenant turnovers spanning entire office floors. Twelve years and 16,000+ jobs means we've seen most shapes. The honest answer: there's no 'too big' if your site is in our service area — we just stage the right number of cans and the right rotation cadence.
Do you serve out-of-state commercial accounts?
If your job site is in our service area (~1 hour from our Stamford or West Haven yard), yes. Your billing entity location doesn't matter — we work with NY-based GCs, MA-based property management firms, etc., as long as the site we're hauling from is in CT or lower NY. See /service-area for the town-by-town coverage.
Can you provide certificates of insurance for our project files?
Yes — these are routine for commercial work. Tell us at booking that you need a COI (and any specific additional-insured language your project requires) and we'll send it. Most general contractor and property management clients request one; we have the template ready.
Do you work weekends and after-hours for emergency commercial calls?
Live phone Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM; the AI assistant takes after-hours and weekend calls and a human follows up the next business day. Trucks dispatch Mon–Sat 8 AM – 4 PM, with Saturday limited by when CT transfer stations close. After-hours dispatch only for true emergencies — call to discuss. For most commercial customers, the same-day-before-11-AM cadence covers urgency without needing after-hours work.

Most commercial customers just call

Phones answered Mon–Fri 8 AM – 4 PM live, AI after-hours and weekends. (203) 219-8855. Tell us about the job — we'll quote it on the call when we can, walk it on site when we need to.
